Stig Vilsen works as a sales engineer at FORCE Technology. Stig is a qualified civil engineer and has a Diploma in Business Organisation and has worked with sales since 1996.

“At the moment the sales department is going through a time of major change with a drastic intensifying of sales efforts and an even sharper focus on customers' needs. This has given me a good opportunity to participate in the building of the department and to influence the sales culture. We have an open way of talking to each other in our day-to-day work, and we are wide open to new ideas, especially if one realises them oneself!"
Customer contact demands intuition
“I am responsible for contacts with our external customers, who in by far the majority of cases I meet face to face. This might, for instance, be in the context of a sales meeting or at one of the many fairs at which we participate around the country. When I am “on” I need a good helping of psychological insight and intuition, not to mention a comprehensive knowledge of all our many services and products in order to help our customers find the right solution.”
Sales of holistic solutions
“The challenges I face have also increased, as FORCE Technology is now in full swing changing from sales of single services to sales of holistic solutions. And it is the sale of holistic solutions which has done so much to make my work even more interesting and exciting, since we must target our solutions exactly according to customer needs.”

Therefore, it is important to be able to stand back calmly from events in order to ensure that customers are getting the solutions they paid for – and on time, it goes without saying!”
