As part of an innovative organisation, FORCE Technology Sweden AB gave an oral presentation of the remote moulding application tools on the 5th International Conference on NDE in Relation to Structural Integrity for Nuclear and Pressurised Components, San Diego, 10-12 May, 2006.

The oral presentation was based on the experience with the remote application tools, which have been patented by FORCE Technology. The remote application tools have been utilised in the reactor pressure vessels (RPV) and primary circuit in nuclear facilities.

The tools have been manufactured for remote application of moulding mass above water as well as under water. The tools can be utilised to a water depth of 30 meters and still obtain a copy of the component with a resolution better than 1 µm.
