In close co-operation with the gas transmission company Enagas SA from Madrid FORCE Technology is working on establishing a laboratory in Zaragoza, where gas meters under high pressure may be tested and calibrated with natural gas.
Under this agreement FORCE Technology supplies the basic design engineering, the detail engineering, the running-in and documentation for approvals with the Spanish accreditation authorities, and we undertake the overall project management in close co-operation with Enagas’ laboratory manager and their engineering department.

Enagas’ calibration system resembles the high pressure facilities that FORCE Technology built in 2003 in Vejen, Jutland.

The need for high pressure calibration increases
The increasing demand for high pressure calibrations in Europe has entailed that Enagas has decided to build up their own calibration facilities to ensure future access to necessary test-facilities, which may only be found in a few places around the world.
Enagas’ calibration system resembles the high pressure facilities that FORCE Technology built in 2003.
The facilities must be ready in the spring of 2009. We are dealing with a unique calibration system that operates all year round and is independent of pressure and flow in the transmission system.
