Quality Management Systems. Environmental Management Systems. Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems. CE marking Systems. There are plenty of systems to handle the processes of a company – and almost endless paper forms, manuals and protocols. The administration of the different systems is also very demanding and – unfortunately – often defective.
Aalborg Portland has chosen to make the electronic and web-oriented Proces2000 from FORCE Technology the centre of the company's handling of quality control.

"Aalborg Portland is ISO 9001 certified and also has about twenty certifications that are in accordance with the ISO 9001 certification. We need a quality control system that is easy and simple to maintain and in which the functions are adapted for future requirements as far as we can see at this time. The cost of the system is reasonable and we will be able to develop the system further if needed," says quality coordinator Jesper Richter from Aalborg Portland.

Today, companies need to be able to handle change and changeability. Every day, companies have to adjust to customers' demands and wishes with respect to price, quality and delivery. At the same time, the company has to be able to incorporate laws and rules, norms and standards. All in all, it requires expert handling of relevant information to be able to incorporate changes into everyday practice.
"Proces2000 makes it possible to handle manuals, instructions, process descriptions and documents in the most ordinary file formats. Everyone at the company can participate in the development and maintenance of the system. This also minimizes the difficulties of carrying out audits as Proces2000 ensures that the current version of a document is always at hand," says project manager Henrik Frølund from FORCE Technology.
Proces2000 can be developed so that it shows the company's processes in a logical sequence, which provides a much more dynamic visualisation of the company's flow than with traditional file systems.
Documentation in place
"We are satisfied with Proces2000, which guarantees that the valid version of a document is available. Our documentation is always up to date with respect to the requirement specifications in our certification since changes and corrections are effected so easily and consistently," says Jesper Richter.
