FORCE Technology has developed courses on Human Factors within a wide range of domains. The common trait in the development of these courses is that our Human Factors specialists gather a thorough knowledge of the domain's work field, values, culture and language prior to the course development.
This collection of knowledge does not only take place via reading, but to a much greater degree via physical presence in the field.
Thorough studies in the field are a natural part of course development
FORCE Technology's Human Factors experts have, for example, participated as observers on an oil-gas platform for a week. Prior to the stay on the platform, Human Factors specialists had to take a safety training course, such that they could act and react in the correct and safe manner in a disaster situation.
Stays on ship's decks and machine rooms have also formed the basis of course development; daytime work on railways and day and night observations at the railway's control rooms has also provided valuable information for tailor-made courses.

Group work is an important part of the learning process

Our course participants typically give very positive feedback on the courses. We believe that this is due to our thorough knowledge of the specific domain - a knowledge that enables us to convey knowledge and work in precisely the areas that are important to the domain in question.
We work in a range of product areas and industries, including e.g.:
• Design
• Accident investigation
• Safety culture
• Training course development
