The Blade Test Centre (BLAEST) is a cooperation between the wind specialists FORCE Technology, Det Norske Veritas and Risø National Laboratory. With test facilities situated near Viborg and in Aalborg in Denmark, it is the strategy of the company to be the world leading centre for the testing of wind turbine blades.
BLAEST will establish facilities for testing blades with a length of up to 100m when the market demand arises.
An essential element in the strategy of the company is to offer the possibility of establishing test facilities on-site with the customers in the domestic market as well as internationally.
