FORCE Technology’s 15x25 sqm large test hall is used for the production and inspection of high-tech inspection systems, which are typically sold to production companies with high-efficiency production lines.
The large test hall is also used for the preparation of procedures to qualify high-tech inspection systems for the underwater inspection of offshore constructions, shipping vessels and nuclear facilities.

The hall’s facilities
The spacious construction of the hall and its many facilities are appreciated by our customers and their consultants, namely approval bodies such as the Swedish Qualification Centre (SQC) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The hall’s facilities comprise:
- Portal cranes with lifting capacity of up to 1500 kg
- Toilet
- Bath and changing room
- Telephones
- Internet connection
- Facilities to run open tests as well as blind tests in parallel.
Water tank
Our test hall is fitted with a water tank, measuring 6 metres in diameter and with a water depth of 6 metres. The clearance above the water tank is more than 10 metres, enabling long rods, manipulators, ROVs, test objects etc. to be lifted from the floor and down into the tank. We use demineralised water with the same properties as the water used in nuclear reactor tanks.
Main purpose
The main purpose of the large test hall is to test, verify and prepare inspection systems and high-tech services, to enable inspection tasks to be conducted optimally and with a high level of safety for the benefit of our customers, the environment and society as a whole.
