LCA and carbon footprint
We document the turbines’ impact on the environment. Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), waste handling, Eco-design, climate accounts & carbon footprint as well as document environmental and health assessments of chemical compounds, environmental communication, environmental legislation, environmentally correct purchases, environmentally technical consultancy, eco-labelling, and eco-goods’ declarations.
Maintenance excellence
We perform risk assessments on tower, nacelle and blade systems according to the principles of Reliability Centred Maintenance. With this streamlined method we optimise maintenance and increase the overall efficiency of the turbine, which results in e.g. lower operating costs and increased production.
Management support
Operating and maintenance strategies – Together with your operating and maintenance functions we ensure that the Development and maintenance strategy becomes an active and operational document, which is in accordance with your requirement specifications. Such procedure also serves as an organisational integration process to new or geographically distributed units.
Inspection programme / End of warranty inspection
We provide inspection at e.g. taking out insurances, warranty/guarantee expiration or new investments. We offer a tailored inspection according to need and desire, or according to FORCE Technology’s consultancy and check lists. The inspection may include foundation, tower, nacelle, mechanical parts, electricity, gears, shafts and bearings, elevator, accumulation tank, the hydraulic system, blades and review of service books and other documentation. We also provide evaluation of the SCADA-system and system performance.
Lift Inspections
As a notified body, FORCE Certification A/S performs unit verification and final inspections of lifts in Denmark and the rest of Europe. For lifts in Denmark we also perform the statutory mounting inspections and the periodic inspections and tests (drop tests).
Pressure carrying equipment
As a notified body FORCE Certification A/S performs conformity evaluations (CE-marking) at new productions of pressure carrying equipment and units for marketing within Europe. In Denmark and Sweden we perform the statutory inspection tasks in connection with usage, i.e. erection inspection and periodic inspections of equipment in control classes A and B.
Integrity management
We ensure operating regularity during the total service life of the system. We perform mapping of all potential error-conditions as regards design planning and operation. We provide optimisation of design, inspection and monitoring solutions as regards long service life and minimised operating costs.
Audit of management systems
We carry out audits of management systems for working environments, quality and environment, and we train your company’s staff in audit of management systems. We provide consultancy task on construction, alterations, implementation and streamlining of management systems, and we carry out implementation of LEAN in all processes and training of staff in the LEAN-process.
Inspection of steel
We perform inspection of steel plates for stratification and inclusions by use of ultrasonic testing both manually and automated. Welds may be examined visually, by MPI for surface-breaking defects and by ultrasound for inclusion defects. Ultrasonic testing may be conducted manually by the pulse echo method, or automated by the pulse-echo and/or TOFD.
Design and verification
We carry out verification of jackets, liquid structures and other steel structures by use of:
- General calculation methods
- Wind load calculations on structures, however not wind turbines
- CFD-analyses: turbulence models
- Response from wind loaded structures
- Wave load on mono-towers, jackets etc: linearly and non-linearly analyses
- Dynamic analyses of structures
Contractor’s supervision / Third party inspection
Contractor supervision and independent inspection as an audit of sub-suppliers, assessment of procedure specifications for production and control, scrutiny of relevant quality documentation from sub-suppliers within steel, paints, rust/corrosion protection and blade production. You will get extensive project supervision and overview of the project process from a certified partner.
