We offer the following services on blades:

Inspection

We provide non-destructive inspections for hidden errors and defects, often by automated P-scan test equipment, and integrity by FRP-composite, e.g. by delamination, wave creation (fibre folds), dry fibres and porosity in laminate. We perform assessment of glue joined blades, e.g. of the distribution of glue joints, width, integrity, position and binding between the blade shells and load carrying beams/bars but also visual inspection of surface defects, installation and transport defects by use of rope access.

Failure analysis

We perform systematic reviews of damaged structures with conclusive assessments as to the failure process on possible fracture mechanism and perhaps RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
