Environmental assessments and life cycle analysis (LCA) are increasingly used to document and account for the environmental impact from a product or a service. A life cycle analysis, where the environmental impact is analyzed throughout the entire life cycle of the product – from raw material, through manufacture and use to disposal of the product – can be applied in many cases e.g. related to:
- Product and service design: What are the environmental consequences of different materials or solutions?
- Selection of focus area: Which environmental impact does a product or a service have throughout its life cycle? And which implementable initiatives are most effective?
- Green communication: Considering the toughen requirements for documenting green communication, LCA provides a good foundation for green marketing strategy and work.
Services
- Life cycle analysis (LCA): We conduct a detailed analysis and evaluation of a product or a service following existing standards – and if necessary, compare with competing products or services.
- Review of life cycle analysis (LCA): We conduct third party evaluations / reviews of LCA prepared by others with the purpose of ensuring that the quality of the LCA meets international recognized standards and that it is applicable for the needed purpose.
- Cradle-to-cradle (C2C): We develop tools within recycling (where disposal waste is reused as a resource) in collaboration with companies and other stakeholders.
- Environmental and health care screening of chemical ingredients and products: We perform screenings of chemical ingredients and products, including preparation of documentation and consultancy related to environmental and health issues.
