High Pressure Calibration

Since 2004 FORCE Technology has operated in high pressure calibration of gas meters with natural gas as medium.

The calibration facilities is built as a closed loop with low pressure drop. This means that the facilities can operate at maximum flow rate and pressure every day.

All kinds of meters can be tested from atmospheric pressure up to 50 bar.

For research and development activities FORCE Technology rent out the facilities including our staff. It is possible for customers to design their own test procedures.

Technical information 
The maximum flow in the closed loop is 10.000 m3/h up to 35 bar (USM meters) and 23 bar (turbine meters) and the total length of the meter system is 14,5 m.

At pressures from 35 - 50 bar the facilities can create flow up to 6.500 m3/h. The accredited calibration uncertainty is 0,18% to 0,30%.

All calibrations are approved by BIPM.
